Acupuncture Christmas message from NCA Principal, Richard Blackwell

At Christmas, with its themes of new life and hope, we put out our twinkling lights and bring in the tree, holly and mistletoe. In these ways we add light and green growth to our homes, as we pass through the cold season and darkest time of the year, yin of yin, in anticipation of the growth of yang in yin as we move towards Spring, with longer days and green shoots all around. This turning point of the year should be a time of stillness and reflection, represented by the Water phase in the Chinese cycle of change. It is a time to rest, restore and take stock, and to ensure we build our strength with deeply nourishing food. Wishing you a very happy Christmas from  everyone at the NCA.
